Blood Donation
Indian Association Uganda in conjunction with Indian High Commission, UBTS & Uganda Red Cross Society held a month long blood donation drive to commemorate 76 Years of India's Independence & 101 Years of Indian association in Uganda starting from August 15th 2023.
Also there is a launch of composite campaign for the benefit of our fellow Ugandan community at large. Target is to raise 5000 units of blood.
Medical Camp
Indian Association handed over medicines courtesy Gittoes Pharmaceuticals to Archdiocese of Mbarara Development Association (AMDA).

Heart Surgery
Indian Association Uganda after a pandemic induced gap, resumed its noble humanitarian project of Heart Surgery for children under 14 years of age. The first batch of three kids travelled to India for Surgery on January 20, 2024 accompanied by our Executive Committee Member. Indian Association Uganda thanks our partners in progress such as Uganda Airlines for sponsoring Tickets and Indian High commission for granting free visas to patients and caretakers.
This is an ongoing project and we expect to continue to help the less fortunate of Uganda who cannot afford life saving surgeries .
